Hunters for Conservation Trust (HFC), ask you to help support its major initiatives to promote conservation and environmental stewardship for New Zealand.

When hunters actively contribute to conservation, we promote our role as environmental guardians in New Zealand and facilitate active involvement in decision-making and management for conservation, wild animals, and the environment.

To achieve our mission, we require reliable financial support. We have identified key funding initiatives, that we’re building towards. Our longer-term intention is to provide grants or to support these initiatives directly.

Operations

This facilitates advocacy, education and all operations of Hunters for Conservation (HFC).
Priority Fund

Our current priority is to advance conservation thru funding to promote and enhance collaboration among various government agencies and the hunting and fishing sector.
Specific Projects Fund

This fund supports specific projects Hunters for Conservation (HFC) prioritises.

Habitat Fund will focus on enhancing and managing habitats in New Zealand. Current priorities are:

Wild Game Habitats

Managing and controlling wild game and other animals in areas where they negatively impact conservation and the environment.
Wild Bird Habitats

Develop and enhance habitats for wild bird life, including game birds, supporting and managing sustainable populations and responsible hunting practices.

Grants for community based projects
